🪞 Optical and mirror illusions
Rooms and installations play with scale, reflections, perspective and light. The official museum highlights attractions such as the Levitation Chair, Hypnosis Room and Vortex Tunnel.
A compact interactive museum on Sopot's main pedestrian street. Children can touch, move and experiment with visual illusions rather than simply look at exhibits — a useful option when the beach weather fails.

This works better as an interactive stop than as a traditional museum visit.

Several installations invite children to touch, pose, push or move through the effect. Our own photos above show the kind of immediate interaction that works especially well with primary-school children.
We would use Mirage as a 45–75 minute indoor block between other Sopot activities rather than build the whole day around it.
It is on Bohaterów Monte Cassino 61, so you can combine it with the pedestrian promenade, pier, food or the railway station without a separate transfer.
Continue down Monte Cassino toward the pier for an easy central family meal with a dedicated kids' menu. It is not the closest possible table, but it is one of our more predictable child-friendly central Sopot choices.
